Covid-19 Information


During this challenging time due to the Covid 19 outbreak, we want to inform you about the production, packaging and shipping of our products to the United States. At the end of February, Italy released a set of guidelines to protect both people and production of goods, which WiQo has followed scrupulously, in order to take care of its employees and continue to produce safely.

Currently, we are working at the normal production pace, ensuring the safety of all production phases: the medical nature of our products, in fact, ensures that controlled checks are done regularly and reliably. We are working with our distribution partners to ensure products reach all of our markets on time.

Is the product safe?

The product is subject to strict controls by the Company and its Quality Control that confirm quality and safety.

Is the health of the workers in charge of production and logistics checked?

The body temperature of the workers is checked before entering the plant. All employees have been supplied with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and the Company checks that they are used appropriately, according to the protocol established by the Prevention and Protection Service Manager.

Has the lab been sanitized?

The laboratory is sanitized on a weekly basis with nitrogen solution in accordance with the sanitary standards provided by law. The workers clean the surfaces and tools daily according to the protocol established by the Prevention and Protection Service Manager.

What safety measures do the production workers apply?

The workers always wear personal protective equipment (lab coats, caps, masks, disposable shoes and gloves) in the production department. They maintain a safe distance between one another.

Is there a risk that the products will be contaminated during production?

In accordance with the certified company quality system, the products are handled exclusively by employees who wear all the personal protective equipment required by law. Production operations take place in a “clean room”, that staff access through a dressing room where they don sterile lab coats, caps, masks, shoes and disposable gloves.

Are the packaging materials checked?

The materials are subject to all checks by the suppliers that certify their quality, safety and hygiene.

Is there a risk that the products will be contaminated during assembly?

The product is handled exclusively by employees who wear all the protections and safety devices required by law.

If an employee tested positive for Covid-19, what measures would you take?

According to Italian laws, the employee who tested positive and all colleagues who have come into contact with him/her have an obligation to enter at-home quarantine.

Is it possible for the virus to spread via the product?

It is assumed that the product cannot be contaminated, thanks to the composition of PRX Derm Perfexion Skin Beautifying Liquid, which has a low pH and contains TCA and hydrogen peroxide (well-known antiseptic ingredients).

Is the company able to ship the product?

Yes.

Are shipments safe?

The safety of the shipments is guaranteed by certified suppliers, selected on the basis of quality and reliability criteria.

Is there a chance shipments will be delayed?

WiQo always works to guarantee the best service to its customers, however in a public health emergency like the current one delays can occur due to causes out of our control.
